Inside a classroom without a teacher we are all contemporaries: the child is equal to the grown up, the man is equal to the woman, the first born is equal to the last, and the king is equal to the pawn. The world is such a classroom, where each must learn for him or herself what it means to be happy or content, sad, how to love, what to remember and how to forget. Like that welcome respite in a student’s day is the mind looking the world and the self through the large eyes of painting for which every thought is the peer of another and none is better the the worst.
