Froilan Calayag’s latest one-man exhibit at West Gallery is titled “Bring Your Gifts.” It is not much of a demand or a requisite for viewers to see his new works as it is his unique way of giving thanks. Amid the tribulations, Calayag focuses on using symbolic representations of wisdom, happiness, dreams, childhood, faith, and love to emphasize that there are still so many things to be happy and thankful for. Life is colorful, and that’s how exactly Calayag wants it to stay.
